TERESA Turner Chang began her career in 1987 as an in-house editor at Steck-Vaughn Company, where she managed the development and production of Language Arts and History textbooks and ancillaries. While at Steck-Vaughn she specialized in hi/lo readers. After earning her MFA from Texas State University, she worked as a full-time freelancer from 1998 to 2005, when she founded Artemis Editorial.

ANNIE Hartnett has over twenty years of experience in education and educational publishing. Before founding Artemis Editorial in 2005, she worked as a Senior Editor at Holt, Rinehart, and Winston, where she managed the development of state-specific textbooks and ancillaries in all academic subjects. Previously she was an Associate Editor in the Language Arts Department at Holt, Rinehart, and Winston and taught Freshman Composition at St. Edward’s University. She has a BA from the University of Texas and an MFA from Texas State University.
